The Hiddenite Center is pleased to serve
as a Public Access Site for Alexander County. This site is located on
the second floor of the Lucas Mansion.
High speed access is available for those needing this service.
There is no
charge for use of the service, and the service will be available to the public
from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays (except
holidays). A basic use form which conforms to the guidelines of the Alexander
County Schools and Alexander County Library will be enforced. The use of the
computer for illegal activity is prohibited. Persons using the site should
have a hotmail, yahoo, or other e-mail address. Activity will be monitored.
Persons using the Public Access Site
are encouraged to enjoy the Center’s other offerings which are
available. The Lucas Mansion Gallery is open to the public throughout
the year at no charge.
